QUICK NOTE ON NAMES

Ubiquiti or UniFi — Same Thing?

Close enough: Ubiquiti is the company, UniFi is its flagship product line — the gateways, switches, access points, and cameras most people mean. If someone told you to “get Ubiquiti,” you’re in the right place. It’s the platform we’ve built our entire practice on, and the only one we install.

THE WHOLE STACK

One Network, Built Right, Managed From One Screen

A network is only as strong as its weakest layer, so we build all of them:

The gateway.

Your internet edge — firewall, VPN for remote access, and traffic control. This is the box that decides what gets in and what gets prioritized. Set up right, your video calls glide while the big download waits its turn. Set up wrong (or left on defaults), it’s the bottleneck you blame your ISP for.

The switches.

The unglamorous heroes: PoE power and clean wired connections for access points, cameras, phones, and anything that shouldn’t gamble on wireless. Properly configured switching is also where network segmentation actually lives — the walls between your lanes are built here.

The wireless.

Access points placed by plan, not by outlet location. Coverage mapped, capacity sized for your busiest hour, roaming tuned so devices follow people instead of clinging to the wrong AP.

The controller.

One dashboard for the whole thing — no subscription, no per-device fees. See every device, every port, every AP; make changes without an on-site visit; and when you call us for support, we’re looking at the same screen you are.

And underneath the hardware, the part that separates a network from a pile of gear: an IP plan that makes sense, VLANs that actually separate what should be separated, guest isolation, documentation, and validation testing before we hand you the keys.

What it costs: a complete small-office build typically runs $2,000–$5,000 — the low end when your cabling and infrastructure already exist, the higher end when we’re building that too. Firm itemized quote at the free consultation.
WHY BUSINESSES SWITCH

The Comparison Nobody Shows You

Ubiquiti / UniFiTraditional enterprise (Cisco/Meraki-class)
LicensingNone. Zero. Ever.Per-device subscriptions — gear can literally stop working when licenses lapse
ManagementOne free dashboard, every siteSeparate platforms, usually subscription-priced
Hardware costEnterprise-grade at a fraction of the pricePremium at every tier
ScalingAdd devices and locations, same dashboardNew licensing at every step
The catchRewards good design, punishes bad design — no vendor hotline to hide behindThe support contract is the product

That last row is the honest part — and it’s why professional installation matters more with Ubiquiti than with anything else. The platform is spectacular when it’s designed right. We’re the ones who design it right, and our 24/7 support fills the exact gap the license fees used to pretend to cover.

ONE PLATFORM, WHOLE BUILDING

The Network Is Just the Beginning

The quiet superpower of a Ubiquiti build is what it unlocks later — because cameras, door access, and phones all run on the same platform you already own:

UniFi Protect cameras.

Security footage on your own hardware — no monthly cloud fees, no “your subscription has expired” the week something happens. Add cameras to the network we built and they show up in the same dashboard.

UniFi Access door control.

Badge readers and smart locks that know who came in and when — managed next to your WiFi, not in some fourth vendor’s portal.

UniFi Talk phones.

Business phone service on your network, with the desk phones plugged into the switches we installed.

You don’t have to buy any of this now. The point is that a properly built network means adding any of it later is an afternoon, not a project. (And with any qualifying install, your first Protect camera is free — G6 of your choice, mounted. Ask at the consult.)

MODERNIZE

Your Old Gear Is Worth Money. Seriously.

If you’re replacing a tired network — big-box routers, mesh pods that never quite worked, unmanaged switches of mysterious origin — bring it to the table. We credit $50 per router and $25 per access point, up to $500 per project, toward your Ubiquiti build. The stuff gets recycled responsibly, your sunk cost turns into a discount, and the network that replaced it actually works.

Signs it’s time: WiFi dead zones and 2pm slowdowns · guest devices touching business systems · nobody knows what that switch in the closet does · the network was fine at 10 people and you’re 25 now · every fix involves unplugging something and praying.

How we do cutovers: phased, planned, and boring — POS, phones, and cameras stay live throughout. We build the new network alongside the old one, move services over in stages, prove each one, then retire the old gear. The dramatic version where everything goes down for a weekend? That’s the version we exist to prevent.

Fine print: Trade-in credit applies to qualifying installations of $4,999+.
MORE THAN ONE LOCATION?

Build It Once, Roll It Out Everywhere

Second location opening? This is where the UniFi bet really pays. We standardize your network design — same layout, same security lanes, same naming, same dashboard — so every new site is a copy of a proven template instead of a new adventure. Your team walks into location #4 and everything works exactly like location #1. Troubleshooting gets easier with each site, not harder.

We support multi-site rollouts across our whole territory — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau County, and Central & Northern New Jersey — and beyond it for the right projects.

AFTER THE BUILD

The Network’s Never “Done.” That’s Fine — We’re Not Going Anywhere.

Devices multiply, layouts change, firmware needs a strategy that isn’t “update and pray.” Our support covers monitoring and alerting (we usually know before you do), planned updates on a schedule you approve, troubleshooting when something acts weird, and expansion planning when growth arrives. 24/7, every day of the year, and a person answers. Every install includes 30 days of post-install support to start.

UBIQUITI INSTALLER NYC

Anyone Can Plug In the Hardware

The difference is the layer under it — the design, the segmentation, the documentation that means you’re never held hostage by your own network (or by us). We’ve been building networks in the tri-state area since 1994. The client list runs from Estée Lauder and the Mets to the Department of Homeland Security, but honestly, the 40-person office in Queens gets the same crew and the same documentation standard.

Serving: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau County, and Central & Northern New Jersey.

Full regional services: our NYC, Long Island & New Jersey hub.

Ubiquiti Questions, Answered

A complete small-office build — gateway, PoE switch, access points, installed and configured — typically runs $2,000–$5,000 depending on whether infrastructure exists. No license fees means the five-year cost usually embarrasses the big-brand equivalent. Firm itemized quote, free, at the consultation.

It runs our clients’ offices, warehouses, restaurants, and a 500-room hotel. The platform isn’t the risk — the install is. Designed and configured properly, it’s enterprise-grade at small-business cost.

A small office is typically a day or two. Bigger builds get a phased plan with a real timeline in the quote — and cutovers are staged so you’re never dark during business hours.

It’s the dashboard that manages everything, and yes — but it’s included in every build we do, with no subscription attached. You get admin access; it’s your network.

Both. Expansions slot into what you have; messy installs get the free audit and our flat-price rescue. We keep every piece of hardware that’s worth keeping — you already paid for it once.

That’s where it shines — one dashboard across every site, and a standardized design that makes each new location a rollout, not a project. See the multi-site section above.

Same platform, same dashboard — add them any time. A qualifying install includes your first Protect camera free (G6 of your choice, mounted). Ask at the consult.

Thirty days of included support, full documentation, and admin access in your hands. Then 24/7 support whenever you want it — monitoring, planned updates, and a person who answers at 2am.

Qualifying installs also include a free UniFi Protect camera — G6 of your choice, mounted. Ask when you book.
Qualifying installations of $5,000+. G6 Bullet, Turret, or Dome; Pro line excluded. Standard mounting within project scope; cable run not included. Prefer no camera? Take a $200 invoice credit instead.
